FAQ
Things people ask first.
Straight answers about the call, pricing, what we build, and how it all works. Still stuck? We’re a message away.
Getting started
What does Northern Peak Systems actually do?
We build connected business systems for small businesses — a fast website plus the AI automation, booking, reviews, and SEO tools to grow it. Instead of a pile of disconnected apps that don’t talk to each other, you get one system where everything works together.
What happens on the call?
It’s a free 15-minute call. We learn about your business, show you the system running, and tell you straight which plan fits. If it’s a fit, we build your website and system in 7–10 days. Book a call →
Is the call really free?
Yes — the call costs nothing and there’s no commitment. We’d rather show you what the system does than pressure you into it.
How do I get started?
Book a call or send us a message. We’ll ask a couple of quick questions, set up a time, and take it from there — at your pace, with no pressure.
Pricing & plans
How much does it cost?
Two simple monthly plans. The Base System is $97/month — we build your custom site free, and the monthly covers hosting, security, edits, and support. The full Peak System — missed-call text-back, reviews, follow-up, campaigns, and booking — is $297/month flat. See pricing.
Is there a big upfront cost?
No. There’s no large setup fee or upfront build cost. You pay one predictable monthly fee for the services you choose, and you only start paying once your site goes live.
Are there long-term contracts?
No long-term contracts. You stay because the system works for your business, not because you’re locked in.
What’s included in the monthly fee?
Every plan includes hosting, security, backups, and ongoing support — plus unlimited edits to your site. Beyond that, you only pay for the systems you switch on, like automation, reviews, or SEO.
What we build
What is a “business system”?
It’s your website plus the tools around it — lead capture, AI follow-up, booking, reviews, SEO, and reporting — all connected so they work as one. Most businesses run these as separate apps that don’t talk to each other; we wire them together.
What is missed-call text-back?
When a call to your business goes unanswered, the system texts the caller back within seconds — starting a conversation that ends in a booking instead of a lost lead. It runs 24/7, including nights and weekends.
Is my data and client information secure?
Yes. Messages and lead data are handled securely, kept only as long as you want them, and managed with Canadian privacy rules in mind. We walk through the specifics for your business during setup.
Do you do SEO?
Yes. Local SEO is one of the systems you can add — we help you rank in Google’s map results and get found by customers searching in your area.
What if I already have a website?
That’s fine. We can rebuild it, improve it, or connect automation and systems to what you already have. Book a call and we’ll tell you straight whether to rebuild or build on what you’ve got.
How long does it take to launch?
Most websites launch within 7-10 days of your call. More complex systems with several integrations can take a little longer — we’ll give you a clear timeline up front.
Ownership & support
Do I own my website?
Yes. Your website and content are yours. We handle the hosting, security, and upkeep as part of your plan so you don’t have to think about it.
What kind of support do I get?
Founder-led, direct support. You work with the person actually building your system — no account managers, no ticket queues. Edits and questions are handled quickly.
What areas do you serve?
We’re founder-led in Edmonton, Alberta, and work with small businesses across Canada and the US. Everything is handled remotely, so location is never a barrier.
What if I want to cancel?
No contracts means no hassle. If it’s not working for you, you can cancel — we’d rather earn your business every month than trap you in it.
